Seeking Fiscal Year 2016 CDBG Sub-Recipient Proposals

The City of DeKalb is accepting proposals from non-profit agencies that are consistent with the City of DeKalb’s Consolidated Plan and meet the community objectives of the Community Development Block Grant.  Successful Proposals will be funded through the 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant.

Projects must be designed to increase public services that promote independent living and self-sufficiency for homeless individuals, families, the elderly and people with disabilities.  All projects are required to meet at least one Consolidated Plan Objective and one HUD national objective.  A list of the Consolidated Plan objectives and HUD national objectives are included in the attached materials.

Proposals are due by 5:00PM on February 8, 2016.  Proposals can be mailed or dropped off at the Community Development office at 200 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.  Proposals that are mailed must be received by the date and time listed above.
