Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP)

About the Plan
DeKalb Sycamore Area Transportation Study (DSATS) maintains a Long Range Transportation Plan which assesses the current state of the transportation systems within the DeKalb-Sycamore region and projects the state of the system out at least 25 years.

Current Plan
The 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan was adopted by the DSATS Policy Committee at their June 24, 2015 meeting. 
  
Plan Update
  • Renewal Period: The plan is updated every 5 years. The next update is scheduled for 2020.
  • Official Public Comment Period: The LRTP is updated every 5 years and is expected to go through a 45-day public comment period. If you have comments on the current LRTP, you are encouraged to submit them at any time.
  • City of DeKalb Comment Form: Use the City of DeKalb public comment form if you wish to comment on any plan or study seen here, or just have general transportation comments. Please select DSATS as the department to ensure your comments are forwarded to the DSATS staff.
