About Active Transportation

When most people think of transportation they think of getting in their cars or riding the bus, but all transportation activities begin with walking.  Many people would like to walk or bike to their destinations for health reasons or it may be their only option.  Our transportation systems cannot be complete without improving access and safety to these non-motorized forms of transportation.

The DSATS Active Transportation Website is dedicated to promoting improvements to the regions trails, walkable communities, and other active forms of transportation.
