Election of Officers (Action)
The DSATS Bylaws state that at the first meeting of the new calendar year, elections shall be held for the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair of each Committee.  The current Chair is Mayor Mundy and current Vice-Chair is Mayor Rey.  Members can chose to retain the current officers or select new officers.

Action:   Nomination of Officers.

Change of TAC Meeting Dates (ACTION)
The Policy Committee move their monthly meetings to the second Wednesday of each month at the December 21, 2016 meeting.  As this change reduces turn-around time between the TAC and PC meetings, TAC approved moving their meeting to the first Wednesday of each month starting with the March meeting.  The Bylaws require that the PC approve any regular date changes for TAC.

ACTION: Approve the TAC meeting date change to the first Wednesday of each month starting in March 2017.

Traffic Counts RFP (ACTION)
Staff is seeking approval of the RFP to solicit proposals for Traffic Counts in 2017.  As we look to provide the selected consultant with as much time as possible to conduct traffic counts prior to the end of NIU spring semester classes on May 4, 2017, staff is seeking approval of the RFP. 

ACTION: Approval of the DSATS 2017 Traffic Counts RFP.

Reconvene the DSATS Bylaws Subcommittee (ACTION)
DSATS staff is requesting to reconvene the DSATS Bylaws Subcommittee which was formed in 2014 to review and update the Bylaws.  In order to streamline both the Bylaws and IGA, staff looks to work with the committee to see if any more updates are required in the Bylaws and what items should be part of the new IGA as the current IGA duplicates much of which is in the Bylaws.

ACTION: Approve the reconvening of the DSATS Bylaws Subcommittee.

Procedures for DSATS TIP Modifications (ACTION)
Staff and TAC members have reviewed the current DSATS TIP Modification procedures and propose changes to the both the official procedures as to what DSATS identifies as an Amendment to the TIP or an Administrative Action to the TIP.  Staff is also seeking approval of the process of how staff seeks approval of any TIP modifications.  As this is an internal DSATS procedure, rather than an official Policy, staff is seeking separate approval for TIP Modification Approval Process.
