  5. Maker Mondays: 3D Design a Lucky Four Leaf Clover

    No more hunting in the clover patches to find yourself a lucky four-leaf clover! We’ll use TinkerCAD and our 3D printers to create your own lucky clover! After the class, we’ll print your clover out for you on our 3D printers to be picked up in a couple of days! This class and the accompanying 3D print is completely free! We do ask that participants be at least 8 years old, and have basic computer skills. No experience with 3D design or printing is required. Sign up begins 15 minutes before class in the Nancy D.     In the 1950s and 1960s, James Hampton, created beautiful art from recycled materials. His most famous work, The Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nations’ Millennium General Assembly, is now in the Smithsonian American Art Museum. In honor of him and Black History Month, we’ll be making our own scavenged art today! We’ll have the scavenged materials, so bring your creativity and vision!   1. DSATS Video Collection Units for Traffic Counts BID Acceptance

    The City of DeKalb, Illinois, lead agency of the DeKalb-Sycamore Area Transportation Study (DSATS), is accepting proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase of up to six (6) Video Collection Units for traffic counts and associated data analysis services. The Bid Proposals (BID) is issued on February 16, 2018 and all proposals are due at the City of DeKalb DSATS office by 1 p.m. March 19, 2018.
