Public Comment on DSATS 2017 Transit Development Plan

The DeKalb Sycamore Area Transportation Study is the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for the City of DeKalb, City of Sycamore, Town of Cortland, and portions of DeKalb County. The DSATS has recently updated its Transit Development Plan for the DeKalb metropolitan region and is making the plan for public review and comment from Friday, August 11, 2017 to Monday, September 25, 2017.

The Transit Development Plan (TDP) identifies potential improvements to the public transit system in the DeKalb metropolitan region.

The public involvement procedures used in the development of the TIP satisfy the program-of-project requirements of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5307 Program. The documents are available at the following locations:

The DSATS Technical Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on the TDP on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the DeKalb County Highway Department Board Room, 1826 Barber Greene Rd., DeKalb, IL 60115.
