Come out of the cold and dark and join the General Book Club when we discuss Graham Moore’s suspenseful novel The Last Days of Night. Based on actual historical events from the late 19th century, Moore tells the story of the back-and-forth legal dispute between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse. Who was the first inventor of the light bulb and holds the right to power the country? Who will be the winner of the “current war”. Everyone is welcome. Copies of the book will be available on the book club shelf. For more information, please contact Teresa Iversen at (815) 756-9568 ext. 2114 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
