  1. Creative Relationships 101

    Relationships, like art, are creative! No two relationships are the same, but by practicing good communication, boundaries, and consent we can bring more health and happiness to every unique relationship. Creative Relationships 101 is a series of 4 workshops that will use conversation, games, and art-making to help us explore, understand, and improve connections with friends, family, crushes, classmates, and boos. Workshops are Healthy Relationships, Boundaries and Communication, Consent, and Creative Relationships Wrap Up. This week we will be discussing Healthy Relationships. Explore the different types of relationships in our lives, understand how they impact our health and happiness, and define healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics. This FREE program is intended for tweens in grades 6-8. Registration is not required. Folks will not be admitted into workshops more than 10 minutes after the start time.

    Join the Pokémon League! Everyone is welcome to attend this program, run by the Gaming Goat, where you can learn how to play Pokémon, and then participate in the game. Just grab your Pokémon cards and visit the library. You ‘gotta catch them all!’ This program is FREE and requires no registration! It is intended for children ages 6-12.   5. Maker Mondays: 3D Design a Lucky Four Leaf Clover

    March 5, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ DeKalb Public Library, Nancy D. Castle Collaboration Studio

    No more hunting in the clover patches to find yourself a lucky four-leaf clover! We’ll use TinkerCAD and our 3D printers to create your own lucky clover! After the class, we’ll print your clover out for you on our 3D printers to be picked up in a couple of days! This class and the accompanying 3D print is completely free! We do ask that participants be at least 8 years old, and have basic computer skills. No experience with 3D design or printing is required. Sign up begins 15 minutes before class in the Nancy D. DeKalb Sycamore Area Transportation Study

  1. DSATS Video Collection Units for Traffic Counts BID Acceptance

    February 16, 2018, 8:00 AM - March 19, 2018, 1:00 PM

    The City of DeKalb, Illinois, lead agency of the DeKalb-Sycamore Area Transportation Study (DSATS), is accepting proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase of up to six (6) Video Collection Units for traffic counts and associated data analysis services. The Bid Proposals (BID) is issued on February 16, 2018 and all proposals are due at the City of DeKalb DSATS office by 1 p.m. March 19, 2018. The full BID shall be available on the DSATS website ( or by contacting DSATS staff directly (contact information below).
