    This story time program is geared towards children, ages 2-5, and caregivers. Music, finger plays, puppets, and books are woven into this week’s theme, chicks and ducks.   2. Book Babies Lap-sit Program

    This lap-sit program is geared towards infants, ages 0-24 months. Babies will learn music, movements, and stories. This will be followed by play time with developmental toys and a chance to interact with the babies and other caregivers. No sign-up is necessary.   3. Afterschool Tuesdays: Blackout Poetry

    Think you can’t write poems? Think again and join us for Blackout Poetry! To create Blackout poems, you take a sheet of text and color all of it out except the words that make up your poems. You’ll make your own inventive poetry, but you won’t have to write a word. This program is in honor of National Poetry Month. It is FREE and intended for grades 6-12.   5. Art & Design: Water Color Landscapes

    Water color paints and pencils available for you to dream up and create an earthly or other world landscape. Choosing the perfect blue color for your sky is only part of the fun. What type of paint strokes will you use for your sand dune or cosmic crater? This will be the first time that this monthly program has played with watercolors. Other art formats used in this series, Art & Design, were charcoal, Perler beads, and origami snowflakes. This FREE program is intended for ages 10 and up.
