Nicor Gas will be returning to the eastside of DeKalb to finish up a gas main replacement project.
The work will be in the 13th/14th Street neighborhood stretching from near Pleasant Street to Sycamore Road. After installing new gas mains last year, crews are returning complete the project, which includes safely retiring the old gas main and final restoration of sidewalks and yards. The work is expected to start this week and last through the construction season.
