Video of Monday night’s DeKalb City Council meeting can now be viewed online after a technical problem at the cable company disrupted the live broadcast.
Comcast has informed the City that a connection on their end failed before Monday’s meeting. Because of this, the meeting audio could be heard but the video could not be seen. Comcast and the City were in contact during the meeting as the company searched for a replacement part but there was no estimate for when the problem would be resolved.
A posting was made to the City’s Facebook page explaining the issue, but without video, the same information could not be passed along to cable viewers.
Shortly after the meeting, the City Council meeting with both video and audio was posted to the DeKalb YouTube page. The meeting can be viewed here.
The City apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks you for your patience.
