| Purchase and delivery of water conditioning bulk softener salt for City of DeKalb – Water Department’s five potable water treatment plants for a period of one year (12 months) with two optional yearly extensions. Water conditioning bulk softener salt is used daily by the City of DeKalb – Water Department as part of the water softening processes at the City’s five (5) water treatment plants. The City expects to use a total of approximately 1,450 tons of bulk softener salt annually during the term of this contract.
