The City of DeKalb, IL will accept sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of three types of potable water treatment chemicals, Chlorine 2.3 (150-pound cylinders), Hydrofluosilicic Acid & Ortho/Poly Blended Phosphate, to the City of DeKalb – Water Department located at 1216 Market St., DeKalb, IL. for a (1) one-year period and an alternate bid for a (2) two-year period with both bids having an option for two (2) one-year extensions.  Bidders are not required to bid on all requested chemicals. Specifications and all Contract Documents are available on-line on the City of DeKalb’s web page at www.cityofdekalb.com/bids .   They may also be obtained from the City of DeKalb Water Department,1216 Market St., DeKalb, IL 60115. All Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “Water Treatment Chemicals Bid” and received at the City of DeKalb-Water Department, Attn: April Beeman, 1216 Market St., DeKalb, IL 60115 no later than 2:00 p.m., October 3, 2023.  All bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter.
