The City of DeKalb, IL will accept sealed bids for Purchase and delivery of water conditioning bulk softener salt for City of DeKalb – Water Department’s five potable water treatment plants.  The City expects to use a total of approximately 1,450 tons of conditioning salt annually during the term of this contract.   Specifications and all Contract Documents are available on-line on the City of DeKalb’s web page at www.cityofdekalb.com/bids .  They may also be obtained from the City of DeKalb Water Department, 1216 Market St., DeKalb, IL 60115. All Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “Water Conditioning Bulk Softener Salt Bid” and received at the City of DeKalb-Water Department Attn:  April Beeman, 1216 Market St., DeKalb, IL 60115 no later than 2:00 p.m. on October 3, 2023.  All bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter.
