Special Event

If you would like to hold an event (parade, procession, march, run, walk, bike event, etc.) that will utilize public streets and sidewalks, or other public right of ways, you must complete and submit a Special Event Application not less than 48 hours nor more than 30 days before the event.   Applicants are encouraged to review Chapter 51.20 of the Municipal Code to familiarize themselves with the requirements for application.

Mass Gathering

If the special event is anticipated to have an attendance of more than 200 people, a mass gathering permit application needs to be completed and submitted not less than 30 days prior to the event.  A mass gathering event permit may also be required if the event is held on private property as well.  Applicants are encouraged to review Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code to familiarize themselves with the requirements for the application and any associated fees.

Block Party

If you want to have a block party, you will need to complete and submit a block party request form to the Finance Department.
