Non-ADA Demand Response Service for General Public
The Non-ADA demand response service for general public if for passengers that were previously registered with the City's former transit provider, Voluntary Action Center of Northern Illinois, and that were classified as "General Public", meaning they are not considered as a senior citizen or an individual with a disability. Non-ADA service for general public passengers is a first-come-first-served transportation service; however, Non-ADA demand response ride requests for general public passengers may be made no more than 24 hours in advance.
All non-ADA demand-response users are expected to be familiar with the ADA Paratransit Service expectations.
Non-ADA Demand Response service for general public passengers is not available for new users registered after January 1, 2021.
