It is just becoming clear how long the coronavirus can survive outside the human body. We have learned that the virus can last on cardboard for up to 24 hours and on metal, glass and plastic for up to nine days. In low temperatures, the virus can last on some surfaces for up to 28 days.
Please note that this immediate action will not only help protect our drivers, but will also help reduce community spread of COVID-19.
We are grateful for our partnership with your community and your understanding and patience during this unprecedented time. We remain committed to providing you updates and continued waste collection services.
