[ARCHIVED] Storm Spotter Training Course Offered at DeKalb Police Department

The DeKalb Police Department, in conjunction with the National Weather Service, will be hosting a free Storm Spotter training class at the Police Department at 700 W. Lincoln in DeKalb on Tuesday, February 25 at 7 PM, available to members of the public. Once again, our instructor will be Gilbert Sebenste, a lifelong meteorologist who served at NIU for nearly 20 years. He continues to provide weather services through AllisonHouse, LLC. Seating will be first-come, first-served to the first 100 attendees, with doors opening at 6:15 PM. The class will run for roughly two hours.
