A Public Hearing will be held before the City Council on June 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the DeKalb Public Library Yusunas Room, 309 Oak Street, DeKalb, Illinois, to receive public input on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). This report provides information on the use of funds and accomplishments by the City of DeKalb for CDBG Program Year 2021 and the City’s Program Year 28 (April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022).
An electronic copy of the CAPER is available for viewing beginning May 28, 2022 through June 13, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. on the City’s website at www.cityofdekalb.com under the Community Development Department/Community Services on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) page. Print copies are available for review in DeKalb City Hall, 164 East Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, IL in the Main Lobby and the Community Development Department, and at the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak Street, DeKalb, IL.
All interested persons are encouraged to submit written comments on this report to the City of DeKalb, Community Development Department, Attention: Joanne Rouse, 164 East Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, Illinois 60115 via regular mail; via email to Joanne.Rouse@cityofdekalb.com, or by using the Online Public Comment Submission Form at https://www.cityofdekalb.com/FormCenter no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2022.
