A Public Hearing will be held before the City Council at its regular meeting on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Yusunas Meeting Room at the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St., DeKalb, IL, to consider the revocation of the special use permit approved by Ordinance 2012-070 (the Ordinance) for a vehicle salvage yard (vehicle recycling operation) for the property located at 1008 Oak Street (the Property), which has a Parcel Identification Number (PIN) of 08-23-281-011 and is zoned “HI” Heavy Industrial. The hearing will consider whether the special use has become unsuitable and incompatible in its location as a result of violating the provisions of Section 1 of the Ordinance and Section 5.12.03 of the City’s Unified Development Ordinance.
All interested persons are invited to appear and be heard at the time and place listed above.
